Swonderful is a sweet and sassy boutique store in Wellington city, New Zealand. Named after a song from our favorite Audrey Hepburn film Funny Face. Swonderful opened in September 2007 founded by Mother & daughter super duo Frances & Virginia McMullen. Swonderful was originally located in Brooklyn but shifted to a super new shop in Wellington’s Victoria street in October 2008.
Swonderful started as a means to showcase our own work- under our label Papercup. But also to help expose other emerging talent. We aim to embrace unique, handmade & local artists & designers. Nearly everything in store is made in New Zealand and if not you can trust we have made sure it is sourced ethically. Promise!
